  18. Under Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server, if no print processor
  19. is specified in the Registry, and if the print processor file is not
  20. in the correct subdirectory, or if the print processor file
  21. (WINPRINT.DLL) is corrupt, you may receive the following error message
  22. when you attempt to create a printer with Print Manager:

  24.    There are no print processors.
  25.  
  26. This error message prevents you from creating a printer. The Print
  27. Processor, WINPRINT.DLL, is usually located in the
  28. winnt\system32\spool\prtprocs\w32x86 subdirectory. If this file is
  29. missing or corrupt, you may receive the above error message.

  31. RESOLUTION
  32. ==========

  34. To avoid this error message, expand a copy of WINPRINT.DLL to the
  35. winnt\system32\spool\prtprocs\w32x86 subdirectory.
  36.  
  37. NOTE: WINPRINT.DL_ is on disk 15 of the Windows NT and the Windows NT
  38. Advanced Server disks.
  39.  
  40. Also, it may be necessary to verify that the Print Processor is set up
  41. correctly in the Registry using the Registry Editor (REGEDT.EXE). Use
  42. the following path:
  43.  
  44. WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause
  45.          serious, system-wide problems that may require you to
  46.          reinstall Windows NT to correct them. Microsoft cannot
  47.          guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of
  48.          Registry Editor can be solved. Use this tool at your own
  49.          risk.

  61. the Edit menu. Also, if WINPRINT.DLL is not specified as the driver in
  62. the winprint Key, choose Add Value from the Edit menu and use the
